HAPPY EASTER!!

Easter this year was so much fun! we of course colored eggs. We also had an neighborhood party. which was so much fun! we have 10 kids so we hid eggs in the woods behind our houses, and put a scavenger hunt together. After that we started a fire pit and roasted hot dogs. The kids lookes so cute in their church clothes for Easter Sunday. I always love getting that picture every year.

Hagen had many days of celebrating his 8th birthday. My parents came and we all went to the mall of america. It was a blast!! We could have spent weeks there! Of course the boys were in Heaven in the Lego store, Nickelodeon universe, mirror maze, aquarium and the water park! I think it even took chase and I back to our younger years on the rides! Then Hagen also had 19 friends for a birthday at the park. He has decided that for his big day he wants to be in Utah! So put on your calenders August 6th at 8 P.m. We are so proud of him and his school work and the decision he has made to be baptized. He is so excited for scouts and has gone twice and the grin on his face is permenant.

So many of you know last week I made many trips to the doctors office. Kaneesa had croup and bronchitis. And then a couple days later Coen got croup and strep throat. They finally get better enough I can send Coen to school and this morning we wake up to what they say " is going to be a horrible storm" and a horrible storm it was!!!! 14 inches of snow and the wind blowing like crazy. Chase wakes up to go to work and thats not going to happen so he comes back to bed. He too is soooo sick. And nothing is opened so I am his Dr. today. we soon realize our hot tub is not running and has frozen. So a long day of shoveling and trying to get the hot tub unfrozen begins! my unpositive attitude soon is completely changed! I can say this neighborhood is so great!!! everyone outside cleaning everyone out it was so much fun!!! kids laughing and playing what better way to spend a day!!!!

This by far has been the best christmas!!! The boys wanted Ipod touches from Santa and xbox with a kinect that isnt Daddy's. All three kids were so excited Christmas morning! Brought me back to being a kid!

October 20th our little Kaneesa turned 1!! she is such a joy and is always giving us a reason to smile! But I must add she is very head strong!

We had a great Halloween with my parents here! but we all got a little bug. Hagen was Avatar Aang from the last Airbender. Coen was a toy army soldier from Toy Story and Kaneesa was Tinkerbell!

On Novemeber 2nd Sweet little Coen turned 5!! Wow how times flies. We moved into our house when he was 6 months old. I cant believed we have been here that long. He is in preschool and loving every minute of it. Next year kindergarten all day.

We had a awesome Thanksgiving at our house with a wonderful group of friends!! yes John Deere friends!!

Mixed in with all that we still had tonz of days spent raking and raking and raking leaves!!!

My boys are growing up so fast..... Hagen started second grade and he loves it. He had a school project that we made together and it was so fun to see his ideas and build it with him! Coen started preschool. He goes every day for 2 1/2 hours. This has been great for his shy little personality. And he enjoys every minute of it.

Hagen turned 7 on April 3rd. My parents came to visit and we had a great time. We took a trip to Dubuque and stayed at the waterpark. we stayed very busy. Hagen had a group of friends come over for a ghostbuster birthday party. we love him so much its been a great 7 years!!!

Valentines this year fell on a Sunday. Chase has to work the Saturday before, but we had decided that we would call going to dinner our present to each other. Saturday is suppose to be a pj day right? well 9:00 the doorbell rang I looked real cute when the delivery man dropped my Purple flowers off. Thanks Babe your the best. I got him a xbox game and we got the boys martian matter. They have spent hours making aliens.

Trip to Grand Harbor

We decided to take a little trip to Dubuque Iowa. It was so much fun. We stayed at the Grand Harbor Resort. We went to the aquarium and the boys were in Heaven at the water park. So much that Hagen asked Grandma and Grandpa if they wanted to go when they visit in March and so we are going back. Chase Hagen and I all have birthdays coming so I guess we are going to be celebrating those. Easter is the day after Hagens birthday. lots of fun things to look forward to.

I am a little slow with my posts these days. November 23rd we celebrated our 7th anniversary. Dinner and christmas shopping at toysrus. yeah can you believe we went to toysrus without the boys? I love you Chase!!! you are always so understanding from the holiday and being far away from family and to my crazy emotions. Thanks for being such a great Daddy. thanks for providing for us so I can be a mom, and at the end of the day coming home to rock a baby, bath a kid or help with dinner. you are beyond amazing.

now on to thanksgiving!! I am thankful for my hubby to 3 amazing and healthy kids. My parents who would go to the end of the earth fot me and my family always so giving!! for my siblings and their families. for awesome friends that just now when to call. for great neighbors always willing to help with our kids. a great friend who refused to not let us be alone for thanksgiving!! we had a good time wth your entire family.and for all the little things in life like the smell of flowers, the sun and a home to live in. hope all had a great thanksgiving!!!!

Our little girl arrived October 20 at 6:46 A.M. She weighed 7lbs 13oz. they wouldnt let the boys come to the hospital so we were so glad to bring her home. The boys love her so much. We all answer to every sound she makes yes she is going to be spoiled.

The summer has been filled with many fun events. The boys and I spent most of our summer in GOOD OLD UTAH!! How I miss so many little things about the beautiful place. The kids had so much fun camping, playing with cousins daily, swimming lessons, parades, fire works, the derby and much much more. I loved spending so much time with my family, and loved the all the help I got with the boys.

It was much fun but a part of us was missing. Yes my Hubby and their Daddy. the day after we flew in Chase had to go to Mexico for work. We missed him so much but what a great experience that is for him.

Soon after it was time for school to start. Wow I thought it would get easier to send him off every morning. Even though we have no fighting all day between the two of them. We sure miss having him around.

Hagen is enjoying his year in first grade.

Coen is my shadow all day. I forget and run him over many times in one day. next year at this time he will be in preschool oh I hate thinking about that.

We have been cleaning cleaning cleaning, painting painting painting and me, sewing sewing sewing.

We took the boys camping to the scott county park we had a lot of fun. Also I signed them up for swimming lessons there. The third day was great. The kids are loving it!!

Granny and Gramps came to visit. We had a great time. We went to the Moster truck show. It was so GOOD. We also went for a picnic to the Arsenal. We were so glad they could visit. But it is very hard to say good bye for me, but also for the boys it makes me sad to see how sad they were that they had to leave. GREAT MEMORIES we made and in six weeks UTAH HERE WE COME!!!

I finally am going to post a picture of the boys in there Easter outfits. For mothers day weekend we went out for dinner I told Chase all I wanted was to pick some new sox for myself. So Saturday after dinner I ran into TJ Max. Hagen wanted to come so we left the other two in the truck. It was great I picked out my sox and was really excited. I came back out to the truck to find these flowers on my side of the truck. I was really tickled I figured since I made a request for sox the flowers probably werent coming this year. THanks Hubby for the wonderful surpise.
Mothers day was great even though Sunday I woke up with the worst sore throat. It is Thursday and I am finally feeling a little bit better.

So I thought it was suppose to be terrible twos, not threes. Coen is so full of it. I just cant help but smile when he really should be in trouble. The other day I cleaned their bathroom. When I went back in I noticed in this little tub toy outside the tub had something yellow in it. I yelled for Coen and asked him if he went potty in it. With a huge smile he said no. so again I asked him again. That smile never left his face. and he finally said yes. I do have to say most of it was in the blue part. So that was the beginning of a long week. I noticed he had something in his ears. come to find he rolled 6 pieces of paper and loaded his ears up. I got 5 out but we had to go to the doc to get the other one out. It seems he has something up his sleeve everyday.

HAPPY 6th BIRTHDAY HAGEN!!!

Six years ago today at 7:17 A.m. My Hagen was born. Weighing in at 8lbs and 8oz.
21 1/2 inches long. I tried finding a picture in the hospital but he had to be under oxygen. You looked so big next to all those six lb babies but it was my big boy who wouldnt breath on his own. You are such a strong boy. Doctors didnt think you would ever fully recover from the shoulder dystocia. You showed them wrong weeks later you were lifting your arm. You add such a happiness to our home. You are a kind and loving boy. We love you so much. Today is a special day. Happy 6th birthday

Trip the Peoria

We decided to take a little Vacation. We decided to spend a few days in Peoria. Chase wanted to go to a Joes crab shack. It was great. We took the boys to the zoo. And of course roamed around headquarters for Caterpillar. We also had a great time enjoying the swimming pool all to ourselves. It was a great trip. The Peoria riverfront was a great view.

I had a great day yesterday. Chase bought me this wonderful robot vacuum. It is great! Thanks babe, I love ya. He also treated me to lunch at one of my favorite places, Bennigans!! And the neighbors had us over for Rudys Tacos for dinner she even had cupcakes. Rudys is another one of my favorite places. Many people called, emailed and facebooked me. It was a great day!!! And this weekend we have decided to go on a little trip for spring break. HURRAY, I get a vacation, I am excited to just get away from the every day house chores. Our Neighbors David and Shari and their two girls left on Saturday for San Antonio Texas. They are moving there. They are going to be missed by all of us. We had a great time. Our night started out with dinner. which was great I didnt have to cook. Both the boys loved the entire show. but I have to say when Mickey and his friends came out Coens face just lit up. it was great. He is all for Mickey it was a great way to start out the show. But the entire show was great. I have to say I think I enjoyed it as much as the boys did. The only bad was our cold weather. I am done with winter!!

We went to the mall to see santa. the boys were excited to see him so they didnt mind standing in line for about 30 minutes to see him. You can call me scruge, but we went to walmart last year and it was a much better. and the whole money thing at the mall is insane.

We have tried to keep the kids full of things to do so they would get along a little better. We had a great Thankgiving hanging with the neighbors. We are all ready for Christmas and it is coming so fast. We built our gingerbread house, made a sugar cube tree with glitter glue and made a popcorn string for a little tree we have.
Wow I am going to have to think really hard for Christmas break. Anybody have some fun ideas?

Today is our 6th anniversary. We had a wonderful weekend putting christmas lights on the house. and yes my neighbor sat the kids and we went to dinner. what a peaceful dinner it was.

Today is my babys 3rd birthday. Wow it seems he is growing up so fast.
He was happy with all his toys he opened today. he had a yeah or a fun remark with them all. but he loves Mickey and Rocket. so when he opened his clubhouse and the Rocket, oh he jumped and cheered it was so cute. Tonight we carved pumpkins. It was a lot of fun. both the boys drew their faces with a marker and Daddy and I cut them out. Hage's loved getting all dirty. Coen Boen, was not going to touch inside there so daddy touched his hand with the stuff and he got quite mad.

So Friday afternoon I was scheduled to get my wisdom teeth out, and I was completely overwhelmed. We needed to get chases boot for him and I needed to do something with the kids so Chase could drive me. and our lawned had not been mowed since Chase found out his foot was broke. One neighbor showed up to take the kids, one was here to mow the grass and dinner was taken care of. Wonderful Friends and neighbors. To all of you that lended your hand Thanks. We had a block party for our little neighborhood it was a lot of fun. The kids had a great time. We build sugar cubes castles, pinata, goody bags, bobbed for apples and they made door signs for their bedrooms. We have had a lot going on this week. Chase fractured his foot. and I am getting my wisdom teeth taken out. so wow what a wild few weeks we have had.

My parents got here last night and unloaded all of our stuff and this afternoon left for Michigan to stay with Toris family a few days and will come back for a few more days here on Wednesday. WOW it felt like christmas here last night. Thanks Dad and Mom. We sure love ya. And thanks to Grandpa Young for his hard work on the boys new furniture we LOVE IT!!! Hagen has his first field trip on Tuesday. I am sure he will have a great time.

some of you may know we found out we were having our third baby. We were so excited. but last week I had a miscarriage. I was about six weeks along. I have a very srong testimony or prayer. I had a blessing that night and I just felt peace. we have been sad but it just helps our testimonies grow and realize the blessings of life after death.

Hagens first day of kindergarten was August 22. Wow how hard it was to send my boy to school all day. as he gets on and off the bus each day my heart breaks a little. he seems so little but yet so ready. I think he is enjoying most of it. I took him to the doctor friday and he had to miss the last 20 minutes of school and he was upset. so I guess that means he loves it. Coen seems a little lost after a weekend of Daddy and Hagen home. But we keep bussy, he really is learning to play on his own. or with the neighbors we kinda keep things going. We had a great time in Utah camping swimming lessons riding horses. We took the boys to the Circus they loved it. We have to say our entire house is a fan of Guitar hero. The boys had a great time. We are getting really excited Granpda Val and Grandma Kathy are coming. we have been getting their rooms ready for their new furniture Grandpa Bud made for them and we are all excited!!!

We had a great 4th of July we went to the parade, watched fireworks ate KFC while we waited and also the boys did sparklers. We had a great time. the boys and I are getting so excited!! Wednesday morning we will be homeward bound to the great mountains of UTAH!!!!!!

We have had a lot going on. Hagen had his preschool graduation. he was a little sad but is very excited for the next step. We took the boys to the Niabi Zoo. it was a lot of fun. With the flood we decided to go walk the sky bridge and see all the damage. We have really missed our snow cone shacks. In Odgen we went weekly. So we found the nearest one is about 20 minutes away. We had a great saturday we took the boys to down to deere to play on the tractors and then went to a town called Eldridge to get snowcone. this weekend the airshow has been going on. yes we hear them flying over our house constantly. but the blue angels sure are great to watch. Hagen had a birthday party we took him to. Chase had a party at one of the guys house from Deere two different weekends. and I am getting ready to pack for our trip home.

Summer is coming soon

I think all of us are ready for summer to be here. I have some great news the boys and I got plane tickets and are flying home July 9 to August 6. and we are totally excited. Hagens last day of school is June 4th and he has his preschool graduation on the 5th. We have made plans to go camping for memorial day. The boys think the xbox and the wii are completely awsome. as you can tell Coen thinks he plays guitar hero. Hagen always has a game in his hand. he still loves every minute of school. and is very excited for kindergarten. the first time the bus takes him down the road I am going to have tears running down my face. but he is ready. Coen is full of it. and loves to tease. We went to our first steamwheelers arena football game. and it was quite fun.

cant wait to see everyone in UTAH!!!!!

We have enjoyed our winter and the kids love playing in the snow. But yesterday gave us all spring fever. we reached a high of 60. we had the bbqs out and were outside a good share of the day.
Hagen is enjoying school. He is excited for kindergarten roundup which is coming soon. I am a little scared to send him to all day kindergarten. but I also think he is so ready for it. He won his alphabet compitition. He was so happy he new them and all the sounds. He thinks he is Ben 10 and the red power ranger. He is counting down for his Birthday. He has a kind heart. We are proud of him.

Coen is into his cowboy hat and boots. He has a fun, but mischievious personality. and is all boy. He will play trucks for hours. We are so happy with how well his potty training has been. He is really into it. He is not much for talking, but we all dont help with that much, we kinda just get what he needs.

Chase is enjoying his job and John Deere. and of course is really into playing xbox live. He recently returned back from a work trip to Germany. It was a great experience but I think he would be happy to not ever have to travel that far again.

and me, I love staying at home with the boys and just being Mom. I really enjoy sewing and
selling blankets. I mostly make baby ones. but its a great side job while Hagens in school and Coens asleep. The neighbor and I get the kids together for play dates quite a few times a week. it is fun. We are enjoying Iowa but I really miss my family and the wonderful Mountains.
